We have some exciting new releases to offer you.
To highlight some of the new releases on the Hungaroton label, there is the world premiere recording of Il Barbiere Di Siviglia by Paisiello (1740-1816) which predates the Rossini version by some 35 years. A new series of the complete chamber music with flute by Lajtha (1892-1963) has just been issued with a disc including the two trios for flute, harp, and cello. The highly acclaimed harpsichord player Szilvia Elek is featured on a disc of music by Jacquet de la Guerre (c1664-1729).
There are also some exciting releases on the GEGA label of music played by violinist Devorina Gamalova. The recording by this English studied artist includes the Poulenc violin sonata, Schumann’s Marchenbilder Op113 and the Little Suite for solo viola by Goleminov (b1908). There is also a new recording of the oratorio version of Haydn’s Seven Last Words of Our Saviour on the Cross.
We have also just started distributing discs from the Slovak Music Fund (Hudobny Fond) and if your taste is in 20th Century Czech Music make sure you look at these pages.
